Parts Specialist
Hiring a Parts specialist to support aerospace manufacturing team with spare parts program including Sales, Packaging, Shipping, Inventory Management, for diverse customers.
Skills:
- DoD Logistician with a background in program management and maintaining Aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
- 2+ years of experience working with computer/data entry.
- Someone who has a strong attention to detail and level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Outlook Adobe.
- Someone who has good internal customer service experience.
- Previous experience handling with PO's.
- Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate Sales (quoting, invoicing, receiving payment information and shipping) and scheduling all other Spare Parts Shipments.
- Utilizing Depart of Defense (DLA) Bid Board DIBBS to submit proposals with understanding of Federal National Stock Numbers.
- Utilize DLA Vendor Shipment Module (VSM) to schedule DLA parts shipment.
- Customer Support: Liaison between Field Customers, Engineers and Equipment Specialists concerning company Products.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings.
- Utilize Government and Commercial Technical Manuals.
- Assist in researching requests for quotes/solicitations and the writing of proposals.
- Willing to periodically travel to attend trade shows and job related conferences.
- Willing to learn through on the job training all of these tasks and other related duties.
- Handles Data entry.
- Will work with PO's and various folders, attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
