Process Technician

3rd shift: 11pm -7am = $22hr+

As a Process Technician, you will utilize a scientific approach to optimize injection molding processes, ensuring the highest quality of parts. You will own and improve processes and equipment, aiming to reduce defects, downtime, and enhance overall performance. Your role includes setting up injection molding presses, installing dies, and operating machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Optimize injection molding processes using scientific methods.
• Own and improve injection molding processes and equipment.
• Set up and operate injection molding presses for thermoplastic materials.
• Safely install and remove dies using hand tools and overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret water diagrams for mold setup.
• Document all process changes accurately.
• Mix thermoplastic materials and pigments according to formula.
• Modify robot programs to prevent damage to parts and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and management.
• Evaluate parts for quality based on established criteria.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and resolve machine malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment adjustments.
• Set up and implement pre- and post-molding operations.
• Handle material changes and manually switch materials on machinery.
• Execute equipment shutdown procedures at shift end.

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit production facility equipped with advanced CNC and injection molding technologies. Our ISO 9001:2015 certified environment supports a wide range of industries, including aerospace, medical, and transportation. Join a busy, dynamic production floor with 22 team members on the third shift, including working supervisors.

This is a Permanent position based out of North Royalton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66000.00/yr. Direct hire, full time bonus and benefits, attendance bonus, 401k match, room for growth

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in North Royalton, OH.
