Warehouse Worker

We are looking for dedicated warehouse workers who will be cross-trained in picking, packaging, and receiving. Our facility operates on two shifts: the 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with potential Saturday requirements. The position involves using high technology systems with little to no equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials received against purchase requisition.
• Accurately pick, break down, and quality control orders for production and direct customer shipping.
• Operate a Stand Up Reach Truck and/or any of the 5 class forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Prepare skids for freight shipments, including wrapping and strapping.
• Stock bins and/or shelves with parts from receiving carts and return to stock shelf.
• Perform packaging and quality control for systems and parts shipping out.
• Check-in RMA's and RTV's.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping.
• Ensure timely and accurate receipt of products from vendors.
• Contribute ideas and participate in monthly meetings.
• Complete semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts.

Essential Skills

• 1 to 3 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 to 3 years of RF Scanner experience.
• 1 to 3 years of picking experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Comfortable reading very small printed labels.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Willingness to work Saturdays if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse of a computer or electronics company.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for computers and technology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
