Adjuster Assistant

Join our team as an Adjuster Assistant on the 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm. This role offers a $1 shift differential when hired permanently.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work areas clean and organized.
• Supply machines with paper, ink, and glue.
• Change paper rolls and printing plates.
• Assist with packing as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools.
• Ability to pass math, ruler, and mechanical tests.
• Physical capability for walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with other adjusters.
• Previous machine operating experience is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of mechanical aptitude and production/machine operating experience.
• Steady work history with more than 2 years at one company in the past 10 years.
• Highly motivated individual.
• Experience from packaging, metals, printing, or converting industry is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WAUKEGAN, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
