Panel Builder

Join our team as a Panel Builder, where you will fabricate electrical sub-assemblies for water chillers and process cooling equipment. You will wire custom control panels according to detailed schematics and hard wire equipment per drawings. Your role will include inspecting or testing wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operation, and recording results. You will also adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and ensure they meet specifications. Additional duties include cleaning parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths, reading and interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions, and continually improving processes to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven practices are in place. Maintaining a clean and safe environment through daily sweeping and general cleaning is also essential.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electrical sub-assemblies for water chillers and process cooling equipment.
• Wire custom control panels per detailed schematics.
• Hard wire equipment per drawings.
• Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operation, and record results.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Continually improve processes to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven practices are in place.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through a continued program of daily sweeping and general cleaning.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of panel building experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
• Electrical and mechanical experience
• Blueprints and schematics experience
• High School Diploma (HSD) or General Educational Development (GED)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in the heat transfer industry

Work Environment
