1st Shift Machine Operator Paying 20 - 25/hr

Machine Operator

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to work on 1st and 2nd shifts, operating honing or lapping machines. This entry-level position involves working with older machines, requiring candidates to be comfortable working around them. A typical day involves standing in one spot, placing small metal parts into a machine, and performing repetitive tasks that require a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Operate honing or lapping machines.
• Place small metal parts into machines for processing.
• Check parts using no-go gauges and perform basic calculations.
• Document basic numbers and data accurately.
• Maintain high attention to detail in repetitive tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Comfortable working with older grinding machines.
• No allergies to the oil used in machines.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working with small parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Machine Operating experience is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• CNC or Grinding experience is advantageous.
• Experience with gages and understanding of numbers and measurements is helpful.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
