Food Wrapper

Join our team as a Food Wrapper, where you will be responsible for preparing and packaging cheeses for online orders with the utmost care and precision.

Responsibilities

• Cut cheeses using a wire cutter for online orders.
• Wrap products neatly and with care, ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment from the warehouse.
• Manage general production tasks including inventory, food preparation, and food handling.
• Stock wrapped cheeses into boxes ready for dispatch.

Essential Skills

• Experience in picking and packing orders.
• Proficiency in wrapping food products.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or production is advantageous.
• Possession of a food handler's certification is beneficial.
• Strong wrapping skills are a plus.

The work schedule is from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The role involves working in a warehouse setting with a focus on food safety and handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, New York.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
