Lead Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer

AERMOR is seeking a Lead Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and management of network and communications systems. This position requires deep experience in both wired and wireless communication systems, including landlines, cellphones, voice, video, and data networks. The Engineer will oversee complex design projects, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and ensure systems are planned, designed, and modified to meet evolving operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform complex network engineering tasks across voice, video, data, and wireless communications systems.
• Conduct systems studies involving planning, design, development, and modification of communications networks and subsystems.
• Produce detailed network infrastructure diagrams and documentation using Visio and AutoCAD.
• Oversee integration of infrastructure systems into operational environments.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Ensure infrastructure designs meet industry standards, security requirements, and operational needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and translate them into functional designs.
• Support cost, schedule, and technical evaluations for infrastructure projects.

Required Experience:

• At least 6 years of professional work and leadership experience in network systems engineering, including landlines, cellphones, voice, video, data networks, and wireless communications.
• Proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD.
• Expertise in planning, designing, and modifying network systems.
• Strong knowledge of voice and data communications systems integration.
• Leadership in managing complex network engineering efforts.
• Must hold a Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
