Water Infrastructure Engineer

AECOM's Water Team in Perth is currently looking for an experienced water infrastructure engineer, who has a passion for technical excellence and is keen to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in a global organization.

The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, and defense sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.

By joining our team, you will have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading experts. You will also have the opportunity to support a variety of major projects locally in Western Australia as well as interstate.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Apply your water infrastructure design skills and knowledge including water pressure pipeline design, desalination plants and gravity sewers into meaningful local and national projects.
  • Contribute to projects across the lifecycle from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Opportunities to support project management activities and build relationships with clients.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and a strong knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
  • Proven experience in water and/or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments, including work with local provider Water Corporation.
  • A passion for high-quality project delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally, experienced in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
