T&D Engineering Intern / AECOM Enterprise Capabilities Internship Programme
We are looking for a motivated and curious Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Intern with a passion for High-Voltage Substations to join our team for a 3-month paid internship. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into how real-world international power and renewable projects are delivered.
As an intern, you will be exposed to various tasks across transmission and distribution engineering, with a particular focus on high-voltage substations. You will support our engineers in day-to-day project activities, from design coordination and documentation to basic calculations and software use. The internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how substation and T&D systems are developed, coordinated, and implemented in a professional environment.
Exposure to international T&D High Voltage Substations.
Hands-on experience with industry tools and workflows

Currently pursuing a degree in Power Engineering (Faculty of Power Engineering – "Facultatea de Energetica")
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in picking up relevant software's and tools e.g. AutoCAD
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
A strong interest in power systems and High-Voltage Substations
Duration: You must be available for 12 consecutive weeks to complete your internship with AECOM
