Job Description

With continued growth across QLD, the Resources and Industry (R&I) team have opened an opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with demonstrated mining infrastructure experience to help drive the technical outcome for a range of infrastructure projects from the Brisbane office.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists whilst working as part of a dynamic and consultative team on major mining projects both across Australia and internationally.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of technical reports and design documentation using your experience as a Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design of mining infrastructure and heavy industrial projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and structural assessments as needed.

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, Major in Structural Engineering.
  • RPQ Eligibility
  • Proven engineering / design experience within mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
  • Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.
