Senior Engineer - Secondary Substation

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Secondary Substation to join our Transmission & Distribution team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a technical advisor for the team
• Providing specialized technical input to studies and design
• Developing study and design procedures
• Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Developing construction cost estimates and technical efforts for projects
• Using expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package
• Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Preparing technical specification sections
• Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule

Qualifications required include:

• 6-10 years of work experience
• Prior experience in leading large design engineering teams performing Grid Substation design
• Experience on HV Plant Design for large EHV Grid Substations
• Experience in design teams working for Grid Utilities
• Experience in preparation of Substation Protection and Control Scheme drawings, Relay Coordination and Settings
• Exposure to International standards
• Ability to lead large teams and face clients independently
• Chartership with IET-UK, EA or equivalent
• Very good communication skills in English language
