Are you ready to shape the future of water infrastructure in Ōtautahi Christchurch? AECOM is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer -Water to join our high-performing and collaborative team.

Our team has a strong pipeline of exciting projects including Water Supply Renewals throughout Christchurch, key Engineer's Representative and Construction Administration roles, and project across various three water elements, this is your chance to make a real impact in your community while developing your career with a global industry leader.

  • Serve as Technical Lead on water infrastructure projects
  • Support and lead project delivery across the lifecycle – from design through to construction
  • Mentor and train junior staff across a range of technical and project delivery tasks
  • Manage client relationships and actively support work-winning efforts
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet project objectives, timelines and budgets

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Technical Lead in water infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of local authority renewals programmes and three waters infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels – from contractors to councils
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to delegate and empower others
