Job Description

AECOM's dynamic Water group in Melbourne is growing and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior or Principal level Civil Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure team. The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve. By joining our team, you will have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry leading experts. You will also have the opportunity to support a variety of major projects locally in Victoria as well as interstate and in New Zealand.

How you'll make a difference:

  • You will have the opportunity to get involved in coordinating, managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and within budget for projects in planning, design and/or construction support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to our emerging professionals, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary degree, CPEng & RPEV (or working towards).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering detailed designs of potable water and wastewater networks, including adoption of MRWA WSAA standards.
  • Exposure to various aspects of the capital project lifecycle from planning, through design, construction and commissioning.
  • Proven experience delivering work within a consultancy environment and working across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
  • A passion for building relationships with clients through high quality delivery of projects and networking.
