We are seeking a dynamic Senior Bridge Engineer to join our vibrant Basingstoke team, who take pride in working together to provide positive project outcomes for our Clients.
We work for leading UK&I and international clients and have a wide range of commissions of varying scale across all sectors. Some typical examples of current and recent past projects include: Network Rail CAFA Wessex, Thames Water pipe bridges, M40 DBFO, Devonport, Assessment and Inspection projects for nearby Local Authorities.
However, our work is far reaching, and we work across all of the major sectors offering wide ranging services to AECOM's many clients including the following:
- Energy
- Rail
- Highways
- Water
- Development
- Defence
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will have the following daily responsibilities:
- Deliver: Lead and manage bridges and structures projects, from inspection and assessment through design, construction, and maintenance, producing high‑quality deliverables.
- Innovate: Apply cutting-edge approaches in structural analysis, design solutions, and project controls.
- Communicating: Present clearly to clients and colleagues through reports, drawings, sketches, and conversations.
- Lead: Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development of junior team members.
