We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Principal Engineer - Highways to join our innovative team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will lead complex highway projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence in our organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and development of complex highway projects, ensuring compliance with UAE and international standards
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for transportation infrastructure
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering their technical skills and professional growth
• Utilizing advanced software tools such as ORD and Civil 3D for design coordination and project delivery
• Analyzing and proposing alternative designs based on site requirements and project objectives
• Implementing and maintaining quality control processes throughout project lifecycles
• Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project success
• Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in highway engineering
• Contributing to business development efforts by participating in proposal preparation and client presentations
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Qualifications include:

• Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized global organization
• 15+ years of experience in the design of roads, streets, highways, and motorways
• Proficiency in ORD software and Civil 3D software for design and coordination
• Strong knowledge of UAE and international highway design standards and regulations
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and fostering team development
• Experience with BIM and CDE in a collaborative engineering environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Experience in traffic analysis and transportation planning
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East
• Familiarity with local UAE regulations and construction practices related to highway engineering
