Joining our established and expanding Nuclear team as a Principal Civil Engineer means taking a leading role in delivering a diverse and growing portfolio of both international and UK-based projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead multi-disciplinary projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from early client consultancy and feasibility studies through to full turn-key solutions and project delivery.
As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across our nuclear project portfolio, supporting a range of public and private sector clients both in the UK and overseas. You will be responsible for guiding design delivery, providing strategic direction across projects and programmes, and ensuring engineering excellence in line with AECOM's standards for quality, safety, and environmental care. Your role will also include client engagement, supporting the development of bids and proposals, and influencing project outcomes through strong technical and commercial awareness.
We are looking for individuals who can apply their expertise independently and provide leadership within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. You will bring strong professional engineering judgement, specialist civil engineering knowledge, and experience working within regulated and quality-assured environments, ideally within the nuclear sector, including new build and decommissioning projects.
