Lead Engineer - Secondary Substation

We are seeking a Lead Engineer - Secondary Substation to join our Transmission & Distribution team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a senior technical resource and advisor for the team
• Providing specialized technical input to studies and design
• Developing study and design procedures for high quality cost effective work
• Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Developing construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates
• Using expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package
• Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Preparing technical specification sections
• Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule

Qualifications include:

• Master of Engineering degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
• 8-12 years of work experience preferred
• Experience leading large design engineering teams for Grid Substation design
• Experience with HV Plant Design for large EHV Grid Substations
• Experience working for Grid Utilities
• Exposure to international standards
• Ability to lead large teams and face clients independently
• Chartership with IET-UK, EA or equivalent
• Very good communication skills in English
