Lead Engineer - EHV Cables

We are seeking a Lead Engineer - EHV Cables to join our Transmission & Distribution team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as a senior technical resource and technical advisor for the team.
• Providing specialized technical input to studies and design.
• Developing study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work.
• Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Using expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package.
• Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Preparing technical specification sections.
• Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Qualifications required include:

• Overall 8+ years of work experience.
• Previous experience in HV Cable OEM design teams working for Grid Utilities.
• Exposure to International standards.
• Previous design experience working with CYMCAP or other similar software tools.
• Chartership with IET-UK or equivalent.
• Very good communication skills in English language.
