Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Engineer with experience in the design of Hydraulics and Drainage, for a variety of projects, including water supply networks and wastewater or flood modeling, to join our experienced and ambitious team of Hydraulics & Drainage. We work in various design phases, from feasibility studies to detailed engineering, on a wide range of projects.

Our clients belong to the private and public sectors and include long-term framework agreements with numerous Local Authorities, and work commissions for Design and Build for large Contractors.

Our office has a solid track record of successful designs for many years in the United States and Australia, not to mention Canada and the Middle East.

If you are selected, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects in the world.

Here is what you will do:

  • Establish standards and procedures for CADD (Computer-aided Design and Drafting) and modeling work.
  • Perform self-checks of work products before delivery and participate in quality control reviews of documentation from staff with equal or less experience.
  • Assign and coordinate tasks to other technical or administrative staff, mainly related to plans and drafting.
  • Work on small projects or in design packages of large projects in which Enterprise Capabilities collaborate, under the supervision of more experienced senior engineers.

Qualifications

Here's what we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the design of Hydraulics and Drainage projects, with a clear interest in developing a technical career in this field.
  • High level in the use of Civil 3D, including the establishment of standards and the creation of alignments, profiles, intersections, earthworks, surface operations.
  • Experience in the use of hydraulic and hydrological software packages such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, Infoworks ICM, OpenRoads Designer, 12D, etc. will be highly valued.
  • High level of English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or Master's in Civil, Environmental, Water Engineering or related fields.
