Accelerate Your Career in Irish Infrastructure

Join AECOM's thriving Surface Transportation Team in Ireland—a 150+ strong professional network operating across Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Belfast. Due to significant growth fueled by a robust pipeline of major Greenways, Active Travel, and Public Transport programmes, we're seeking an enthusiastic and driven Roads, Civil, or Infrastructure Engineer with 2+ years of industry experience to join our expanding team.

Your Role & Responsibilities

You will be ready to take the next step in your career, delivering and coordinating design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.

• Support and lead to the engineering design on a diverse range of projects including major highways, bus infrastructure (NTA standards), and active travel schemes (DMURS/NTA Cycle Design Manual).
• Ensure all project deliverables meet AECOM quality standards, and are managed effectively to time and budget.
• Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, interrogating outputs from other disciplines (e.g., drainage, structures, environmental).

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what's possible?

Here's what we're looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc).
• Experience in relevant areas such as civil engineering, road design, greenways, public transport/bus infrastructure, or major highways.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of TII Publications/Standards.
• Solid understanding of the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS) and the NTA Cycle Design Manual.
• Experience with the preparation of contract documents (e.g., Public Works Contract - PWC forms).
• Demonstrated experience in general road design and drainage modelling/design.
