Imaging Scheduler

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Imaging Scheduler for our Non-Acute Pre Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Imaging Scheduler, you will:

  • Monitor inbound fax and email traffic, following through with scheduling tasks such as booking various departments as needed
  • Retrieve Voicemails from Live Vox three times a day
  • Function as a Scheduler during lunches and staffing shortages
  • Assist Benefits Specialist with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed for cases booked greater than 48 hours prior to the appointment date and time
  • Assist Schedulers with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations for cases booked less than 48 hours before the appointment date and time
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two years of Medical Scheduling, Insurance Coverage and Benefits or Patient Access experience
  • Strong customer service skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills, proven ability to communicate with others positively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Imaging Scheduling experience preferred

Work Schedule:

Day Shift

8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Range: $20.07 - $26.42

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
