Housekeeper

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced housekeeper for our Environmental Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Housekeeper you will:

• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks.
• Work with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise.
• Assist with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping, notifying supervisor when refill orders are needed.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Day
• Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Required/ Rotating Follow company holiday calendar
• On-Call: No
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
