Charge/Lead Housekeeper

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Charge/Lead Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Charge/Lead Housekeeper, you will:

  • Interact daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information. Assists management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff.
  • Assist with department QI initiates.
  • Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies.
  • Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values.
  • Provide a clean environment for all patients, public and employees at Shady Grove Adventist Healthcare.
  • Access to Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy#101-01-180 Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in either a housekeeping or hospitality environment.
  • At least 1 year of team lead experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

Evening Shift from 3:00pm -11:30pm to include every other weekends

Pay Range:

$19.21 - $24.90

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Non-Exempt)
