The role you'll contribute: Responsible for the procurement, inventory placement and control of all food, paper and chemical purchases for the Nutrition Services department. Responsible for following Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Place and verify supply orders with vendors, ensuring accurate pricing and timely delivery; process invoices according to Finance department protocols.
• Create and manage requisition templates and purchasing records to streamline procurement workflows and maintain organized documentation.
• Inspect and remove recalled products promptly, replace stock as needed, and perform safety and refrigerator inspections to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate and communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve supply issues, report discrepancies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Preferred qualifications:

• Food Handler Certificate (FHC)
• Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM)
