AdventHealth Daytona Beach includes a 293-bed main hospital in Daytona Beach, as well as outpatient facilities located at the Pavilion at Port Orange and the New Smyrna Health Park.
More than 400 physicians hold privileges to practice at our facilities, and we employ more than 1,700 care team members. Our specialties include cardiology, cancer, emergency care, surgical services, obstetrics, Level II NICU, neurosurgery, stroke care, rehabilitation, weight-loss surgery, imaging, laboratory, home health, wound care, diabetes, hospice, physician practices, and women's services. We also offer the area's only inpatient rehabilitation facility with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation for stroke care.

The role you'll contribute:
Reports directly to the Sr. Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for leading and directing strategy and business plans to support continued growth and development of the Cardiovascular service line: positioning cardiac and vascular services as an exemplary market competitor in providing cardiovascular care. Establishes collaborative relationships with cardiologists and vascular surgeons who provide care, as well as other physicians and APPs who interact with Cardiology. Provides financial and management oversight for Cardiology and Vascular related procedural areas; developing and leading initiatives related to performance improvement (team, finance, innovation, safety/quality, patient experience); conducts technology equipment planning and negotiation and ensures all areas of the service line work together to create a common vision of excellence in cardiac care within the market and to other external agencies.
Directly responsible for leadership oversight of managers and their teams in the areas of Cardiac Catheterization Labs to include Cath, EP and Hybrid, Cardiac Recovery Unit, Cardiology DI and Cardiopulmonary Rehab.
Develops policies and procedures, ensures all activities comply with hospital and outside regulatory agency standards, monitors supply levels, equipment maintenance and budget planning, usage and accountability. Ensures proper workflow and departmental productivity, adjusting staffing levels as required. Brings ideas, concerns and issues to the attention of the Chief Operating Officer and acts as a liaison for the service line.
