Lung Navigator Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time, dedicated, and skilled APP, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Lung Navigator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary conditions, ensuring coordinated and effective treatment plans. The Lung Navigator will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary and related medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Interpret and verify diagnostic test results
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all organizational policies and standards

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia license or eligibility
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Alignment with AdventHealth's mission and values

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to read and assess patient needs and operate medical equipment
  • Frequent verbal communication and auditory comprehension, especially in emergencies
  • Manual dexterity for equipment handling and computer documentation
  • Physical strength for lifting and transferring patients
  • Mobility for walking, transporting patients, and navigating clinical environments
  • May require prolonged standing and occasional driving

AdventHealth Redmond is a 230-bed facility, serving as a regional referral source for all of northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama.
