Senior Application Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer with a solid background in optical engineering and hands-on experience in testing silicon photonics devices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with using optical and electrical test equipment (e.g., OSA, power meters, VNAs, probe stations) and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically utilizing Advantest's V93000 hardware and SmarTest 8 software. This role will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next-generation silicon photonics products.
Job Description:
- Develop and debug test programs for silicon photonics devices using the Advantest V93000 ATE platform and suitable ancillary equipment
- Prepare and execute pre-sales activities like customer presentations and benchmark projects
- Design, implement and validate test methodologies for optical and electrical characterization of silicon photonics components and integrated circuits
- Manage the transfer of suitable test solutions from design into high volume manufacturing
- Create project plans for complex projects and track project completion
- Delivery of customer trainings and technical workshops
