The ideal candidate is an independent contributor who thrives in complex development environments, demonstrates ownership of technical deliverables, and communicates effectively across geographically distributed teams. Prior experience supporting NPI programs and understanding the broader product development ecosystem is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on silicon characterization, analysis, and debug to develop and refine Product Definition aligned to customer requirements, yield, cost, and quality targets.
  • Own Product Engineering inputs to design issues; collaborate closely with design teams to provide data-driven feedback and recommendations.
  • Provide strong technical execution and leadership within cross-functional teams to achieve product technical requirements.
  • Support and influence technical discussions with Design, Test, Quality, and Customer teams that impact final product performance and manufacturability.
  • Execute product Test, Cost, and Quality gate activities in alignment with development milestones.
  • Provide timely technical debug and root-cause analysis for customer-reported issues; work with quality and customer teams to drive resolution.
  • Support manufacturing readiness through engagement in wafer sort, FT/SLT test methodology, and production ramp activities.

Preferred Experience

  • Analytical Thinker: able to assess problems, plan for experiments/next steps and drive team to execute.
  • Data Analytics: able to understand complex data and draw technical conclusions to drive the next step.
  • Experience in applied Solid State Physics, Computer Architecture, Digital or Analog Design.
  • Wafer and FT/SLT test methodology and equipment knowledge.
  • Strong and effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • 7 years or more industry experience
