The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated new college graduate to join our ROCm Core team. You will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing ML kernels to improve performance and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative ML solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about technology.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize ML kernels with focus on performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software components. Assist in design and implementation of new ML algorithms and frameworks. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure the delivery of reliable software. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and hardware optimization techniques.

Preferred Experience

Strong foundation in machine learning concepts and algorithms. Experience in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar. Familiarity with GPU programming and parallel computing, like CUDA or ROCm. Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and excellent communication skills.

Academic Credentials

Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
