The role: This manufacturing engineer role will be responsible primarily for manufacturing and component documentation, compliance to ISO industry standards and environmental restrictions (RoHS, REACH etc.). Working closely with the manufacturing engineering team, environmental and compliance teams and collaborating hand-in-hand with our contract manufacturing partners, you will be responsible for coordinating between suppliers and internal teams and ensure all documentation is maintained and available.

Key responsibilities:
Work primarily onsite at AMD's Markham facility, with occasional travel to support external sites.
Preferred experience: Familiarity with SMT PCBA assembly processes. Understanding of manufacturing environments and Bills of Materials (BOM). Knowledge of quality systems and tools (APQP, SPC, 8D). Awareness of ISO standards and audit processes. Experience meeting RoHS and REACH compliance requirements. Engagement with suppliers and contract manufacturers. Strong communication skills, including working with distributed teams. Hands-on experience with soldering and PCBA repair. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Academic credentials: B.S. Degree preferred
