Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Marketing / Pricing Analyst is to act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for processes and tools managed within the Global Service Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert on AE Service Pricing Processes
    • Analyzes existing reports and dashboards for enhancement and consolidation
    • Validates accuracy of price changes to ensure appropriate price, operation, and effective date
    • Resolves or assists in resolution of price change errors, issues with pricing
    • Manages and maintains global service pricing in SAP
    • Manages the Global Service Price Book, delivery, and maintenance
    • Executes requests for miscellaneous pricing updates for new and existing service products globally
    • Reviews and approves quotes for service products in Model N
  • Supports general reporting, analysis, and visualization requests by producing reports and dashboards, as needed
    • Execute, improve, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the global service organization.
    • Prepare, analyze, and summarize various weekly, monthly, and periodic operational results by creating reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts.
    • Create detailed requirements for reports and dashboards including business rules, data mapping, visualizations, basic summary statistics and drill-down
    • Develop and reconcile complex reports to multiple data sources to validate reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Other duties as required to meet customer needs and to support the department

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of ERP systems, including SAP
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a demanding, time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in making independent decisions
  • Ability to envision appropriate information architecture and document organization for a variety of project
  • Ability to gather and organize information from various sources and individuals.
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Work with team spirit or as individual contributor with limited supervision
  • Manage time and work efficiently and in an organized fashion, and provide prompt follow up
  • Excellent computer skills to include creating reports and spreadsheets, utilizing Excel, and use of Word, Outlook, PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce, and other data management systems
  • Solid understanding of AEI business processes is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related business experience

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education
  • Coursework in ERP Systems and system analysis desired.

Compensation:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $60,000 to $90,000 per year.
