Position Summary:

The Sr. Value Engineer will focus on Adobe's Experience Cloud solutions and is an expert on Adobe's capabilities, value levers, and how they provide quantifiable value to businesses across different industries. This role is responsible for creating self-serviceable value tools and assets, enabling sales and solution consultants on value tools, leading client engagements on top deals to hit ASV targets, and identifying value gaps and generating value thought leadership collaboratively with Adobe's Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the value of Adobe's Experience Cloud solutions within the sales team through education and mentorship
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to identify key opportunities for developing tailored business cases.
  • Lead engagement teams on customized business cases by building consensus with C-level clients, orchestrating engagement with value engineering team members and ecosystem, leading problem-solving and providing mentorship, and ensuring business case hand-off leading toward deal closure
  • Identifying gaps in knowledge, assets, and tools and proactively resolving them
  • Working with Adobe's Product Marketing teams to incorporate the latest features and trends in value assets and sharing product feedback

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Background in interacting with diverse industries, focusing on enterprise organizations
  • Ability to tie critical business issues with Adobe solution capabilities and forecast quantitative benefit
  • Champion of value-selling methodology and evangelizer of business cases
  • Maintain an understanding of competitors, especially strengths and weaknesses of competitor solutions
  • Expert client-facing written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, financial analysis, and business research skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $125,500 -- $220,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
