Software Engineer

The Developer Experience (DevX) team builds and evolves the internal engineering platform that enables teams to design, build, test, deploy, and operate services effectively at scale. Our work spans developer portals, CI/CD automation, service maturity frameworks, observability standards, and workflow integrations across a diverse architecture that includes monoliths, microservices, and micro-frontends. As a Software Engineer on DevX, you will contribute to high-leverage systems used daily by engineers across the organization. You will collaborate closely with internal users to identify friction in the development lifecycle and design scalable solutions that improve productivity, quality, and reliability. This role offers broad exposure across technologies and fields, from backend systems and frontend tooling to cloud infrastructure and automation.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement internal platform capabilities that streamline the software development lifecycle
• Build automation and integrations across CI/CD, code quality, testing, deployment, and observability systems
• Contribute to the evolution of our internal developer portal and service maturity frameworks
• Work directly with engineering teams to understand workflow difficulties and validate solutions through rapid iteration
• Prototype, refine, and scale tooling based on real-world usage and feedback
• Leverage modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development workflows, to improve productivity
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and operational excellence

What You'll Need To Succeed:

• Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python, or Go)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production-quality systems
• Ability to understand systems end-to-end across application, infrastructure, and developer tooling layers
• Comfort working across different technologies and domains
• Bias toward solving root problems and improving systems at scale
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly

Nice To Have:

• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud-native environments
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, or code quality tooling
• Experience contributing to internal tooling or platform initiatives
