You will join the Adobe Fonts and Type team in Bucharest, where you will develop the next generation of tools, alongside skilled and passionate engineers.

You'll join an independent, fast-moving team backed by the resources and talent of Adobe. We're fun, hard-working, experienced engineers that are equally capable of giving and receiving technical guidance. The team is focused on bringing the greatest Typography in the world to tens of millions of users. Multiple programming languages like C++, Typescript are used to deliver great functionalities consumed by a large number of customers on web, desktop and mobile platforms.

What You Will Do

• Develop high-performance, reliable, testable and maintainable code
• Provide guidance in architecture, design & code reviews
• Partner with people in other roles and other teams (Product Management, Design, etc.) to create amazing products
• Mentor other members of the team
• Work closely with teams across Adobe, in different geographies
• Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team

What You Need To Succeed

• At least 10 years of practical experience developing products
• Strong computer science background (data structures, algorithms).
• Fluent in C++ programming language (experience with Typescript is a big plus)
• Very good knowledge of OOP and design patterns
• Skilled in leveraging AI tools to enhance coding efficiency.
• Knowledge of web technologies and standards
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Committed to the highest levels of quality, experienced on test automation (Unit testing, Integration testing)
• A sharp eye for security related issues and performance bottlenecks
• Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking
