The Challenge

We're redefining Adobe's Content Platform by building a cohesive set of cloud-based collaboration services that power seamless experiences across platforms. As part of this mission, we're looking for a senior engineer to help us develop and evolve the client libraries that connect our microservices to the applications our users love.

The Opportunity

Join the Collaboration Services team and help define how Adobe products connect to our cloud-native microservices.

In this dedicated engineering role, you'll be responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining client libraries and SDKs that connect Adobe applications to the Adobe Content Platform. You'll play a key role in integrating collaboration features into our products—shaping how users experience connected, real-time workflows across platforms.

You should be self-directed and team oriented. Your primary team is based in Hamburg, but you will also collaborate with other development teams in the USA and India. Your colleagues are forward-thinking and encouraging and provide an outstanding work environment.

What You'll Do

1. Together with your team you fully own client libraries and SDKs you built.
2. The focus area of your work is to drive the implementation of sophisticated features.
3. To guarantee a high standard of quality, you contribute to the test strategy and make decisions on automation technologies.
4. With the goal of robustness and security in code, you establish relevant practices and patterns.
5. Together, we promote a culture of continuous learning. You share knowledge and mentor others.
6. In a joint effort with your fellow team members, you work with Adobe internal client teams that integrate with the Content Platform.

What You Need To Succeed

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related area (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in the field
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ including concepts like event loops, callbacks, and futures
• Ability to investigate and resolve problems with client teams integrating the SDKs
• Proficient in writing and maintaining tests
• Good written and spoken English language
• Comfortable in technical discussions and code reviews with constructive feedback
• Interest in continuous learning and working with innovative technologies

Desirable But Not Mandatory Qualifications

• Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience in container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience in monitoring technologies like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic
• Experience with Java and application frameworks like Spring
• Experience with AWS cloud provider
