Job Description

Primary Location: Nampa, Idaho

Janitor and Custodial: Keeps office building, production perimeter areas, and exterior grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

• This position is very physically demanding.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space, and restrooms.
• Replaces and cleans lights and light fixtures.
• Cleans all glass in doors, windows, and dividers.
• Empty trash and garbage receptacles daily.
• Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Dusts and cleans furnishings, office equipment, plants, and fixtures.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of team production, Maintenance, Warehouse and Transportation teams.
• Previous experience with cleaning solutions and chemicals a plus.
• Ability to perform basic functions of math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
