Leads all commercial activity and related customer communication for responsible programs.
Serves as the voice of Adient to the customer and the voice of the customer internally at Adient
Strong leader with excellent organizational skills who develops creative strategies for profitable growth
Initiates, develops, and grows customer relationships with Purchasing, Engineering, and Program Execution personnel, paving the way for optimal and efficient commercial negotiations
Strong financial skillset and solid understanding of all Adient financial metrics. Evaluates business cases and presents to leadership for approval
Leads change management process from a commercial perspective and works with Program Excellence Teams to maximize commercial opportunities during the product development process
Coordinates across all product groups to develop commercial recovery strategies and to negotiate fair and reasonable commercial recoveries (obsolescence, mix changes, increased demand over CPV, scrap etc.)
Develops and maintains an accurate commercial action item list in Salesforce in support of annual company commercial commitments
Understands customer documents and owns submission of necessary documents required to for quotes and other commercial claims
Ensures purchase orders are updated in a timely and accurate manner, upon resolution of commercial negotiation with the customer
