Location: Oklahoma - Office is in Tulsa so if you reside close, it will be in office twice a week but if outside of Tulsa, then once a month in office

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 / Annually

Our client, a growing software organization is embarking on a major modernization initiative — transforming its long-standing on-premise platform into a modern, web-based SaaS solution. We're seeking a talented Software Engineer who can help design, build, and deliver the next generation of this product.

You'll join a small, agile team led by a forward-thinking technology leader focused on innovation and continuous improvement. The team is early in its modernization journey, and this role will be instrumental in shaping the architecture, integrations, and technical culture that drive it forward.

What You'll Do:

• Help design and develop a web-based application that connects seamlessly to existing legacy systems.
• Work with a modern tech stack: .NET APIs, AWS Lambdas, and Angular/React.
• Lead development of new components while integrating internal and external APIs — including web-based payment systems.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles; experience with Terraform is a strong plus.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and peers to modernize processes, introduce new ideas, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate problem-solving and creativity — not as a shortcut, but to elevate your craft.

What You Bring:

• 3–5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with exposure to both new and legacy environments.
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture, integration best practices, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with.NET, AWS, Angular/React, and API development.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• A curious, adaptable mindset — someone who stays current with evolving technology and enjoys continuous learning.
• A collaborative approach and a drive to challenge the "this is how we've always done it" mindset.
