2. Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (25%)
· Partner with engineering/architecture on network design and strategy.
· Review designs for maintainability and alignment with business needs.
· Conduct technical research for hardware/software upgrades.
· Act as technical advisor on all network, firewall, and voice services.
3. Network Operations & Optimization (20%)
· Oversee daily operations and act as escalation point for complex issues.
· Review/test disaster recovery plans for network services.
· Document troubleshooting processes and provide procedural guides.
· Monitor and tune systems for uptime and performance.
4. Capacity Planning & Analysis (15%)
· Use monitoring tools to analyze performance, establish baselines, and forecast capacity needs.
· Manage service provider SLAs and vendor relationships.
· Track performance trends and flag potential service delivery issues.
5. Project Leadership (5%)
· Provide operational requirements and risk input for IT projects.
· Ensure network solutions meet operational standards.
· Support implementation planning and transition to operations.
