Senior Managed Service Provider Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote support during and after large-scale device, email, and file migrations for ~400 users.
  • Work hands-on with end users to complete device enrollments and address issues that can't be automated.
  • Support Microsoft 365 environment including identity and access management / single sign-on alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal staff, an external MSP, and other partners to ensure a smooth transition to the updated environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve post-migration issues, escalating to partner teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of IT support or systems administration experience (MSP or consulting background strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience with device management, onboarding, and post-migration support in Microsoft environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and core Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to think critically, identify patterns or recurring problems, and clearly report findings.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with experience working directly with end users in a decentralized environment.
  • Relevant certifications or training a plus: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+; Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate; Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate; ITIL Foundation; other vendor-specific training demonstrating hands-on migration or endpoint management expertise.
