About Our Client: Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our manufacturing client with a stable and steady workforce. Excellent tenure, small and friendly team environment. This role helps to manage the office and front desk operations while supporting the HR Director. High attention to detail, critical thinking, organized and likes to support leadership.

Job Description: This position serves as the primary administrative and HR support function for a small manufacturing office. The role combines front-desk responsibilities, office management, and human resources coordination. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, highly organized, and comfortable supporting multiple functions in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for the office, answering phones and welcoming visitors
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team
  • Maintain and update employee records across internal HR and benefits systems
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, onboarding paperwork, and background checks
  • Support payroll processes and prepare time-off and reporting documentation
  • Manage office logistics including supplies, calendars, conference rooms, and catering
  • Coordinate company events, internal trainings, and annual programs
  • Assist with internal communications, flyers, and light marketing support
  • Organize and maintain digital files and documentation within SharePoint
  • Schedule vendors, building services, and travel arrangements as needed
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within Office Administration and HR support
  • Able to work onsite 100%
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Sharepoint, HRIS and CRM
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, friendly demeanor
  • Some event planning is a plus!

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Start in a few weeks for training overlap
