Customer Service Representative – Tax & Insurance Support

An Addison Group client is looking for a Customer Service Representative – Tax & Insurance Support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and emails from customers regarding tax documentation, insurance policies, claims, and related account matters.
  • Provide clear, accurate explanations of company procedures, compliance requirements, and billing statements.
  • Assist clients in understanding forms, notices, and account-related communications.
  • Escalate more complex issues to subject matter experts while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Document all customer interactions thoroughly in the CRM system.
  • Partner with internal teams including servicing, accounting, and compliance to resolve client needs.
  • Meet or exceed key performance targets such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally within tax, insurance, or financial services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and general office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
