Commercial Sales Representative

A growing HVAC solutions provider is seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to expand business opportunities and build long-term client partnerships. This role focuses on developing new accounts, assessing customer needs, preparing tailored proposals, and closing sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of the commercial HVAC business within an assigned territory
  • Identify and target prospective clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements and recommend HVAC systems, products, and services
  • Prepare competitive proposals with equipment specifications, pricing, and timelines
  • Partner with engineering, installation, and service teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with profitability and customer satisfaction goals
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and client records in CRM
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technology, and competitor offerings
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, association meetings, and community events
  • Provide post-sale support to encourage repeat business and referrals

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within HVAC, construction, or a related technical field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license required
