Provider Support Specialist

Addison Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Client Support Specialist to support our client's healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys supporting providers through administrative assistance, phone-based support, and efficient problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound phone calls from providers and internal teams
  • Provide timely support by answering questions, documenting requests, and routing issues appropriately
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records in internal systems and web-based portals
  • Monitor and support daily workflows to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within established timelines
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve workflow or process issues in collaboration with internal teams
  • Review information and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards
  • Track, document, and follow up on open items to ensure resolution
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with providers to support ongoing operations
  • Handle confidential information in accordance with privacy and compliance guidelines

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of administrative, provider support, or office-based experience, preferably in healthcare or a regulated environment

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Typing speed of 65 WPM or higher
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working with web-based systems, phone queues, and data entry tools
