Addison Group is partnering with a well-established construction services company based in North Austin. Our client is expanding its HR department and seeking an experienced human resources professional to help scale its growing workforce. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the full recruiting lifecycle and onboarding in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that values teamwork, integrity, and accountability.

Job Description:

This position will oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for field and office-based roles, primarily within the landscaping and construction sectors. This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding skilled field workers and support staff while ensuring compliance with all HR documentation standards. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, proactive, and experienced with Paycom or similar HRIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruiting process, including job postings, candidate outreach, interviews, and hiring recommendations.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through online platforms, job fairs, and community networks to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in Paycom or other applicant tracking systems.
  • Prepare and process all onboarding documentation, ensuring compliance with I-9 and other employment requirements.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Support HR leadership with special projects and process improvements related to hiring and employee onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within landscaping, construction, or similar industries.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Proficiency with Paycom or other HRIS/ATS systems.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of the H-2B visa process is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • Type: Contract-to-hire (6 months, potential to convert sooner)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, onsite
  • Hours: Full-time, standard business hours (8AM – 5PM)
  • Team Size: Sole recruiter supporting a small HR department
  • Interview Process: Two rounds, both onsite
