AV Technician
Location: Washington, DC
Compensation: $40/hour

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience providing AV support in corporate, government, or enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with AV hardware such as projectors, microphones, video conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams, WebEx), and control panels (Crestron, AMX).
- Strong understanding of signal flow, video resolutions, audio DSPs, and network-connected AV systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV issues quickly and effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
- Familiarity with cable management, rack setup, and system testing.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work directly with executives, staff, and external vendors.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to support conference rooms, events, and daily operations at our Washington, DC location. The AV Technician will provide setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment to ensure seamless meetings, trainings, and live events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment including projectors, microphones, video conferencing tools, and control systems.
- Provide live support for meetings and events, ensuring audio and video quality meets professional standards.
- Troubleshoot AV issues in real-time and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Support executive-level meetings with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Maintain inventory of AV equipment and ensure systems are updated, tested, and ready for use.
- Collaborate with IT staff to integrate AV systems with enterprise networks and ensure system security and reliability.
- Document system setups, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
