The Role

We are looking for a superstar; someone who can come in, hit the ground running and help the global Workplace Operations team in doing our part to support Addepar on delivering our goals and ambitious plans. You'd be joining the team at a really exciting time as we expand into new territories, grow the number of Addepeeps globally and at a time when our existing processes and ways of working are evolving. The ideal Workplace Operations Lead would be someone that is experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of projects and responsibilities from ensuring the smooth running of our Pune office and creating a memorable experience, to rolling up their sleeves and getting it done. The Workplace Operations Manager is someone who works well in both group settings as part of a global team and as an individual, who relishes the challenge of supporting and developing their direct reports.

Having a professional, friendly and outgoing approach will set the Workplace Operations Lead up for success and being ready to get to work and collaborate with anyone and everyone will be essential. You should be enthusiastic, have the ability to think strategically and be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. As Addepar continues to grow, there may be opportunities to extend your remit outside of India.

What You'll Do

1. Oversee the smooth operation of the Pune office, ensuring an exceptional experience for all employees and guests that aligns with our brand and values. This role involves fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
2. Lead and manage the local Workplace Operations team setting clear expectations, goals and objectives aligned with the wider department strategy
3. Partner with the global Workplace Operations team to assess, define and execute process change, standardizing and streamlining departmental functions globally.
4. Oversee space planning within the current office, collaborating closely with People, Talent, and Finance teams to proactively manage headcount growth.
5. Work closely with the regional senior leadership team to proactively address issues, communicate updates, build strong partnerships, and professionally represent the Workplace team.
6. Own and manage the regional Workplace budget, including spend, forecasting, and ensuring value for money. Build strong relationships with existing vendors, insisting on quality and value.
7. Where needed, partner cross functionally to help support and deliver events across the company with a keen focus on planning, logistics and employee experience
8. Ensure the workplace is aligned to local H&S requirements, taking a proactive approach in risk management and creating a safe working environment

Who You Are

• Minimum 7+ years of experience working in a similar area
• A strategic, forward looking and practical thinker who can plan ahead and also react quickly in a fast paced environment
• Strong experience in workplace management, line management, space management/planning, budgeting
• Experience with Jira, Excel, Google Workspace will be an advantage.
• An individual who is passionate about workplace management and wants to push the boundaries of how we run our offices.
• Manage and run office operations in India and APAC.
• Demonstrable strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels from our Executives to our vendors
• A team player who understands the importance of global consistency and creating a strong department culture
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask, track progress and keep stakeholders informed
• Self-directed, motivated, and proactive. Someone who can see problems and resolve them before they arise
• Bring a positive, professional, and upbeat attitude
• Experience managing APAC locations will be a definite plus Important Note - This role requires working from our Pune office 3 days a week (Hybrid work model)
