Quality Assurance Engineer
This is a full-time job where you'll be the final quality gate for a data-heavy product heading into beta. If you enjoy breaking ETL pipelines, spotting silent data issues, and making engineers faster by catching problems early — this role is for you.
We're building a Python-based data and analytics platform with complex API integrations and automation workflows. Data quality isn't a "nice to have" here — it's mission-critical.
Location: South America - Fully Remote
Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities
- Own QA across all engineering deliverables
- Validate: Python-based ETL pipelines, API integrations, n8n workflows
- Identify functional bugs and data inconsistencies before they reach users
- Perform light debugging: Small fixes in n8n workflows & Minor corrections in Python scripts
- Clearly document issues with context engineers can act on
- Escalate complex problems with structured, actionable feedback
- Act as the central quality gate before releases
Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful
Must-Haves
- Proven experience in QA for software products
- Strong ability to read and understand Python code
- Hands-on debugging experience (logs, exceptions, broken flows)
- Experience with data systems, ETLs, or API-driven integrations
- Clear, structured communication with engineering teams
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with n8n or similar automation tools
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Startup experience
- Background in data, analytics, or reporting products
