Job Title

Responsibilities

Project Planning

Route Surveys

To conduct route surveys in the city for laying steel pipelines

Liasioning with External Parties

To liaise with various statutory bodies like Public Works Department (PWD). Municipal Corporations, etc. for permissions and clearances for laying the pipelines

To resolve issues with the statutory bodies, general public, etc. regarding laying of pipelines

Materials Planning

To assess the requirement for material and prepare timely steel material requirement and estimates

To monitor availability of material in stores as per requirement to ensure desired inventory levels

To follow up with P&C Department and vendors, if required for timely material procurement

To coordinate with P&C department for inspection of received material

Manpower Planning

To support the Line Manager in assessing the project feasibility and planning for resource requirements in terms of manpower and contractors

To provide support during contractor selection and evaluation

To coordinate with contractors for project deliverables, milestones, equipment and materials

To coordinate with third party inspectors for quality and safety of the work done by the contractors

Project Monitoring

To ensure monitoring various activities for conducting site survey

To ensure monitoring progress rate and timely deliverables

To ensure proper quality surveillance

To support in inspections at project site for ensuring safety and quality of project execution

Safety

To ensure adherence to safety norms by various contractors

To ensure contractors comply with organizational procedures

To ensure contractors report all hazards / accidents and unsafe acts in timely manner

To conduct regular inspection of the sections for identifying any unsafe/hazardous conditions and take corrective action against them along with against those identified by employees and workers

To conduct regular and planned inspection in the area of responsibility

Qualifications

Required Experience: 3-4 years

Education: B.tech / B.E
